When we created Lonely, Not Alone, I did not want it to feel loud or overwhelming.
I wanted it to feel honest.
Because loneliness is not always obvious. It is not just being physically alone. Sometimes it is being surrounded by people and still feeling slightly disconnected — like you are there, but not fully part of it.
That feeling is more common than we talk about.
In the studio, we kept everything soft and open. Gentle strings, space in the arrangement, nothing forced.
The music needed to breathe.
Because this is not a song about solving loneliness.
It is about recognising it.
There is something important in that.
Realising that the feeling does not mean something is wrong with you.
It means you are human.
One of the ideas that stayed with me while recording was this:
You never really know who else is feeling the same way.
People carry things quietly. They smile, they talk, they show up… and still feel that distance inside.
And if this song does anything, I hope it simply reminds someone:
You are not the only one.
Lonely, Not Alone is now available on all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
You can also use the track directly in social media apps through their music libraries.
Thank you for listening.
