In this album of 11 tracks, Riley´s Big Bands, I combine my love of big band, as in the musical style, as well as a gentle nod to some of the biggest artists ever recorded, including the amazing Doris Day, the soulful Alexander O´Neil, and the iconic Dolly Parton.
I also had a whole heap of fun with some of the sounds, with the thumping Happy Birthday, which follows the same marching band style as the Halloween single, and there are some real tributes to you. That is to those who always feel overlooked, left out, or are considered so strong, nobody feels the need to check on you. I do. I will check. If you need me, you are not alone.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, it was actually quite a long process as some of the songs were recorded long before even the spring singles were released.
Anyway, here is Riley´s Big Bands, for you first, and released on all major platforms at the start of November.
